Capital Valves has long been supplying to this industry with an emphasis on deliveries to the export market. Our valves are, for example, to be found in great quantities in China on the Manjung, Ho-Ping and Ling Ao power plants to name but a few.
Closer to home, we supply to most of the English and Scottish power generation plants who especially purchase both low and high pressure parallel slide valves from us, this type of valve generally regarded as being superior to a standard flexible wedge gate due to lack of wear, lesser opening and closing torques, and because there is little or low risk of blocking due to thermal expansion and contraction.
Other typical products which are supplied:
- Y – pattern globe valves in classes 900, 2500 and 4500
- Forged angle globe valves with hub ends up to 10 inch class 4500
- Tilting disc check valves with non slam application up to class 1500
- Standard gate valves in chrome molybdenum steels with pressure sealed bonnets in classes 1500 and 2500.
